Seeding final · Three rounds in September

A third championship, seeded off the other two.

Supercross and Pro Motocross settle their own titles independently. The SMX Playoffs are separate: the top 20 in combined Supercross + Pro Motocross points inside a class auto-qualify, riders 21st to 30th race a Wild Card for the last two spots in a 22-rider field, and then the regular-season points are thrown away. Seeds restart on a fixed scale, 25 down to 2, and the payouts escalate: standard points at Playoff 1, double at Playoff 2, triple at the Final. One million dollars to the 450 champion.

Final. Both regular seasons are complete, so these seeds are settled: the cut line after the 20th seed is where auto-qualification ends and the Wild Card race begins. Riders who changed class between Supercross and the outdoors are seeded only in the class they finished the outdoor season in, per the SMX cross-class rule, which is why a rider can hold points in one column and not appear in the other class at all.
